Unsung HeroesRevealing the Remarkable in Seemingly Ordinary People
Sandra and her husband Howard are known for their years of tireless contribution to the Narrogin community. Described as the most hard-working, salt of the earth people you could ever meet, both of them, since their young family's earliest years, have been supporting the clubs and organisations that interested their four children.
With their son a State cyclist needing to be transported to Perth from Narrogin once or twice a week and two daughters who were heavily involved with ballroom dancing and regularly competing, Sandra and Howard ensured, with the dedication that that level of commitment requires, that their children were given every opportunity to excel in the activities they loved.
Sandra will do anything to ensure everyone is happy. She is devoted to her family and although a more fragile soul than her gregarious husband, she is fiercely protective of anyone she considers her own and will do anything for them. Sandra has a cheeky side too and enjoys a good laugh; she is not afraid to speak her mind and quick to apologise if she has overstepped.
A friend speaks admiringly of Sandra as one of the strongest women she knows.
